WCTV is searching for a Digital Content Producer to join their award-winning team. The ideal candidate is a driven and dedicated journalist with strong writing skills and news judgment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent writing, copy-editing, and storytelling skills
  • Write accurate, compelling, and engaging articles under tight deadlines
  • Use AP Style on a daily basis at an expert level
  • Break news with accurate and timely push notifications through our apps
  • Craft thoughtful and eye-catching text, photo, and video posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads
  • Scout story ideas through viewer calls, emails, or direct messages
  • Pitch and cultivate creative ideas to increase web traffic and audience engagement
  • Collaborate and communicate with reporters, other digital team members, producers, anchors, and managers to gather content for online and on-air
  • Interest in presenting content on our streaming platforms and/or broadcasts
