Role Overview

As a Digital Reporter, you'll be responsible for capturing and preserving verbatim records of depositions and other judicial proceedings. You'll use specialized recording software and hardware to produce high-quality audio/video documentation. You'll also administer oaths, create detailed annotations for transcription, and ensure smooth and professional proceedings.

What You Will Do

Accurately record legal proceedings using advanced audio/video equipment, administer oaths, annotate essential testimony for transcription, and manage and secure exhibits, backup files, and complete job-specific worksheets.

  • AAERT's Certified Electronic Reporter (CER) certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Touch typing (minimum 60 wpm with accuracy)
  • Associate's degree in legal studies, communications, or audio/visual technology
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a national criminal background check
