Role OverviewThe Digital Specialist will provide cross-cutting technical, analytical, and operational support to the regional program from Headquarters, working closely with Task Team Leaders, Country Management Units, and country-based colleagues across the West and Central Africa (AFW) region. The role will focus on the implementation of the WBG Digital and AI strategy in AFW, including digital public infrastructure, digitalization of services, digital skills and jobs, artificial intelligence adoption and governance, and the preparation of National Digital and AI Compacts in AFW countries.
What You Will Do
The Digital Specialist will be responsible for contributing to the preparation, implementation, and supervision of WBG-financed digital transformation projects across the West and Central Africa region, advising clients on strategies and best practices, and supporting foundational identification, civil registration, and vital statistics modernization.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
