Job Description
As a Dimension Control Technician 1, you will lay out, fabricate and assemble standard and nonstandard major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, master tooling gauges, and related tooling. You will also plan work, determine methods and sequence of operations, and set up and operate optical instruments to check alignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Math skills (Algebra/Geometry)
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Proficient on computers
  • Understanding of construction processes, ship lines and terminology
  • Experience with level surveying in production
