Job Description
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is seeking a Direct Care Worker to work in the Nicholas Scoppetta Children’s Center. The successful candidate will oversee the care, development, and guidance of dependent, neglected, traumatized, and emotionally disturbed children. They will create a welcoming, trauma-informed environment and conduct individual and group orientations for youth.

Requirements

  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time experience working with children or youths in a congregate residential institution or non-secure detention facility
  • Ability to work various shifts including holidays, weekends, and overnights
