Job Description
The Lead Direct Support Professional is responsible for assisting the Care Team Manager with oversight of the day-to-day operation of the home and providing high-quality care to individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of work experience working directly with persons with disabilities, high acuity or with intense behaviors
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language
  • Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs
  • Ability to use office equipment, including BSLS information technology systems
  • Ability to physically and emotionally work with individuals who possess mental illness and co-occurring disorders
