Role OverviewThe Direct Support Professional-Citizens will work 24 hours per week, Monday and Saturday from 3p-11p, and Sunday from 7a-3p. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living tasks, promoting a high quality of life, and ensuring a safe and clean home.
What You Will Do
Provide ongoing support to individuals with daily living tasks, such as self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being. Assist with medication administration and meal preparation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- Successful completion and maintenance of AMAP status
- Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information
