Role OverviewThe Direct Support Professional-Citizens will provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives, ensuring a high quality of life is maintained. This includes providing support with self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
What You Will Do
The Direct Support Professional-Citizens will report and document any events/activities that may hinder the health, safety, and well-being of the person, follow treatment plans, and utilize adaptive and safety equipment. They will also assist with medication administration, prepare meals, and implement and document treatment plans.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- Successful completion and maintenance of AMAP status
- Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information
