Role OverviewDirect Support Professionals (DSPs) provide continuous support to individuals participating in Day Habilitation and ICF programs, ensuring a high quality of life and promoting independence. They assist individuals with self-care, health, safety, socialization, and overall well-being.
What You Will Do
Primary duties include ensuring safety, training volunteers, transporting participants, acting as a liaison, and reporting incidents. Additionally, you will complete documentation, promote agency philosophies, and attend mandatory training.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid NYS Driver License
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
- AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training preferred
