Role OverviewDungarvin is hiring experienced Direct Support Professionals to lead activities, teach life skills, and support community participation for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role is part-time, 32.5 hours/week, with a competitive pay rate of $23.50/hour. The team is united by a shared commitment to making a real difference in people's lives.
What You Will Do
As a DSP, you will lead cooking, art, music, recreation, and life-skills activities, teach and reinforce skills that promote independence, provide personal care, and support individuals with verbal and nonverbal communication needs.

Relevant backgrounds may include Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Behavior Technician, or similar human services experience.
Requirements
- At least 6 months experience supporting adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience providing direct support, personal care, behavioral support, or skill development
- Must be 21 years or older
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company van
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic documentation systems
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills for documentation, support plans, and team communication
- Ability to lift and transfer 50 lbs.

- Teamwork and ability to work in small groups as part of a larger group
