Role OverviewAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independently, safely, and fully engaged in their communities. Your day may include helping individuals participate in community outings, events, and recreational activities, supporting personal goals and celebrating achievements, and assisting with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
What You Will Do
Help individuals with daily activities, encourage independence, and support individuals in achieving their personal goals as outlined in their Individual Service Plan (ISP).

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in direct care or support roles (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of developmental disabilities and related healthcare needs
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards
