Role OverviewWe are seeking Caregivers & Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our program in Redding, CA. Our DSPs interact and support individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings, providing direct care and implementing behavior plans.
What You Will Do
Provide personal care and support to clients, assist with activities of daily living, help with ambulation and transferring, and ensure a safe home environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will possess experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ability to lift 50 pounds, and experience using a Hoyer Lift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred
- Experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and experience using a Hoyer Lift
- Experience supporting consumers with G-Tube care
