Role OverviewAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll work alongside a passionate team to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You'll help them build independence, develop social and communication skills, and navigate daily living activities like personal care, housekeeping, and community engagement.
What You Will Do
Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs), assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation, support life skills development, provide community support and transportation, promote health, safety, and well-being, and complete required documentation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will possess a desire to help others reach their fullest potential, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma/G.E.D. preferred. Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
