Role OverviewAs a Direct Support Professional at Bancroft's Lakeside Program, you'll empower individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities to reach their highest potential. You'll provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner, assisting with daily living activities and teaching life skills. The role requires a strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually, and/or developmentally disabled individuals.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include carrying out behavioral treatment plans, collecting direct observational data, providing personal care and supervision, teaching daily living and functional skills, and resolving problem behavior situations. You'll also accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings, and provide safe transportation.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License in the candidate's legal name and current address
- One year minimum driving experience
- License should be in good standing and free of restrictions
- Minimum of six months related work experience or Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
