Role Overview

The Direct Support Professional provides quality care to program participants, implements specific procedures and programs, reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, and assists the supervisor with tasks to support department operations.

What You Will Do

Provides quality care to program participants, assists with domestic duties, transports individuals, and completes necessary documentation according to CW standards.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to assist with the domestic duties of the program, maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of participants, and promptly report any evidence of abuse or violation of participant rights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience supporting people with brain injuries and/or disabilities preferred
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Satisfactory driving record per agency's insurance company standards
  • Ability to communicate well in English
