Role OverviewWe are hiring Direct Support Professionals to work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This is a part-time opportunity for college students, paraprofessionals, education majors, healthcare students, and anyone looking for rewarding part-time work after school or in the evenings.
What You Will Do
As a DSP, you'll support an individual with IDD in their home and community, helping with daily living skills, getting out into the community, building social and independent living skills, providing encouragement and companionship, and helping someone live a more independent and fulfilling life.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You don't need years of experience. We're looking for people who are reliable, compassionate, energetic, and genuinely enjoy helping others. Experience as a paraprofessional, caregiver, DSP, PCA, home health aide, special education professional, behavioral health worker, or healthcare worker is a plus—but not required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation
- Able to complete required background checks
