Role OverviewAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be a crucial part of our mission by delivering personalized, compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. Your role will include providing direct care, de-escalation management, empowering participation, collaboration, and documentation.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting individuals with daily living activities, implementing strategies to foster positive behaviors, supporting individuals in engaging in social and recreational activities, working with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and goals.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and insurance
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
