Role OverviewDirect Support Professionals assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, providing support with care, hygiene, and community integration. They must be familiar with Residential Service Guidelines and provide instruction and support services as described in the participants' Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP).
What You Will Do
The role involves assisting with daily needs, including personal hygiene, food preparation, house cleaning, shopping, and monitoring of health needs. The professional must also interact with participants, provide informal counseling, and problem-solve with participants.

Requirements
- Diabetes Delegation Required
- CNA Preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Minimum Experience: Personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities with challenging behaviors strongly preferred
- Minimum Driving Experience: Must have a valid in-state driver's license and be able to provide current car insurance
