Job Description
Bloomberg Media is seeking a Director/Technical Director to lead and support live TV production on weekends. The ideal candidate has experience directing live multicamera productions, switching shows, and managing video playback software. The position requires a bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in live TV environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience working in live TV environment
  • Experience directing live multicamera productions
  • Experience switching shows, Sony MVS switcher experience preferred, but not required
  • Solid communication skills
  • Adaptable to real-time changes in rundown and comfortable providing direction to technical crew through production
  • Comfortable speaking up, making decisions, and clearly communicating with the technical crew
  • High level of attention to detail when it comes to shot composition and talent/studio choreography
