Role OverviewAs a Director at LJA Transportation, you will lead and shape the growth of LJA's Bridge Inspection Program, collaborating with a team to support business development, marketing, and project management.
What You Will Do
Serving as a technical resource for bridge inspections, establishing inspection procedures, developing and leading inspection staff, and managing bridge inspections.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas
- Qualified Bridge Inspection Team Lead in the State of Texas
- 12+ years of progressive structural engineering experience
- 7+ years of NBIS bridge inspection experience
- Recent experience with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and Specifications for National Bridge Inspection (SNBI)
- Current on NBIS Requirements to Serve as a Qualified Team Lead
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities, with strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills
- Proficiency with load ratings and load rating software
