Role Overview

The Director, Annual Giving is a strategic leadership role responsible for sustaining and enhancing financial resources essential for the achievement of SOME's strategic business goals. This pivotal position oversees the planning and execution of a comprehensive annual giving strategy and fundraising program, managing multi-million-dollar direct mail and digital giving initiatives, alongside other individual donor fundraising opportunities.

What You Will Do

Manage consulting groups and vendors, provide strategic counsel in support of SOME’s financial goals, develop and execute a robust annual giving strategy to maximize philanthropic support from individual donors, and cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of fundraising experience in place of a degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or related fields
  • Proven track record of success in individual giving and donor relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships with donors, volunteers, and internal/external stakeholders
