Job Description
UJA-Federation of New York is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics to lead the organization's intelligence, analytics, and business reporting team, with responsibilities including managing a team, delivering enterprise reporting, and providing actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in business intelligence, finance, business analytics, data analytics, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading analytics or BI teams and delivering high-impact reporting and insights
  • Expert proficiency in SQL and proficiency with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, or similar) and modern cloud data platforms (Azure/Fabric, Snowflake, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in a scripting language, preferably Python, data modeling, ETL concepts, and governed semantic layers for business intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Experience utilizing AI to drive efficiencies and reduce manual work burdens
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, set clear expectations, adapt communication to different stakeholders, and recommend data-driven solutions that best support business goals
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making through data
