Role Overview

As Director, Ethics & Compliance, you will serve as UGI's senior compliance leader, responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously strengthening our ethics and compliance program across the U.S. enterprise and globally.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include owning the global compliance program framework, risk assessment, and policy governance, overseeing sanctions/trade compliance, leading anti-corruption programs, and providing guidance on ethics investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; J.D., M.B.A., or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive ethics and compliance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior compliance leadership role within a regulated, complex, multi-jurisdictional enterprise (energy, utilities, or industrial sector experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated expertise in global investigations, multi-jurisdictional policy governance, enterprise risk assessment, and sanctions/anti-corruption compliance.
  • Deep working knowledge of DOJ Corporate Compliance Guidance, FCPA, OFAC regulations, and the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines, as well as European compliance requirements (EU Whistleblower Directive, Sapin II, UK Bribery Act, GDPR).
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, and to communicate complex compliance matters with clarity to Board-level and business audiences.
  • Sound judgment, the highest personal integrity, and the discretion and courage to navigate sensitive matters independently.
