Role OverviewThe Director of Executive Communications will lead internal and external communications for Electronic Arts' Chief Experiences Officer, shaping the business unit narrative and developing an integrated communications strategy aligned with clear business objectives and audiences. This role will partner closely with C-suite, executive leaders, and cross-functional partners to translate business unit priorities into clear, compelling communications that build credibility, confidence, and understanding of EA's long-term strategy.
What You Will Do
Develop and lead a comprehensive internal and external communications strategy, manage media relations and executive visibility/thought leadership opportunities, oversee internal communications strategy and channels, and direct high-impact presentations for executive and business unit meetings.

Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, media relations, employee communications, or related fields
- Significant experience advising C-suite executives or senior leaders on communications strategy, messaging, media engagement, and thought leadership
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across executive, corporate, media, employee, and social formats
- Proven ability to translate complex business, technology, product, or cultural topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Deep experience developing executive thought leadership and external visibility programs
- Strong understanding of business, technology, entertainment, gaming, media, and cultural trends
- Demonstrated experience with media relations, spokesperson preparation, issues management, and high-stakes communications
- Sharp judgment, discretion, and executive presence, especially in ambiguous or sensitive situations
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across functions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable operating strategically and hands-on — from shaping narrative architecture to drafting final copy
- Experience using visual, social, video, and presentation formats to bring executive storytelling to life
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
