Job Description
Director, External Communications is a senior storytelling and brand reputation leader responsible for how S&P Global Mobility shows up. The role owns the company's public narrative, from media relations and thought leadership to executive visibility and crisis communications.

Requirements

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy
  • Own all media relations activity, building and nurturing relationships with key journalists, editors, and industry influencers
  • Serve as a primary communications advisor to the C-suite
  • Lead the development of executive thought leadership content
  • Manage crisis communications planning and response
  • Collaborate with marketing, investor relations, legal, and HR to ensure external communications are aligned, timely, and on-brand
  • Manage PR agency relationships, external vendors, and communications budgets
  • Track media coverage, share of voice, and communications KPIs
