Role Overview

The Director, Field Safety Operations Lead will set the strategic direction for Field Safety Operations at the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, leading all venue and cluster health-and-safety teams across Competition and non-Competition sites.

Key responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for Field Safety Operations, building and managing the health and safety workforce plan, and participating in venue design reviews and Event Operations planning.

Requirements

  • Specialized expertise in field safety operations and large-scale event safety

  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to present to executives and handle conflict professionally
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience; OR Master's degree and at least 6 years of experience; OR 10+ years of specialized work experience
