Job Description
The Director of the Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) serves as the University's senior professional responsible for comprehensive emergency management across all LSU campuses and properties.

Requirements

  • Develop emergency management policies, procedures, and plans
  • Supervise and develop training programs for faculty and staff
  • Coordinate with regional emergency management organizations
  • Manage the Emergency Operations Center duties during an emergency
  • Identify and implement programs to reduce the frequency and severity of disasters
