Role Overview

As the Director, Human Resources, you will report directly to the CHRO and be a senior leader within the Human Resources department responsible for employee relations, HR operations, and oversight of the HR team. You will ensure legal compliance and best practices across employee relations, performance management, HRIS, payroll, compensation, employee benefits, and people analytics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing a Human Resources team
  • 7+ years of broad and progressive Human Resources experience with significant focus on employee relations, performance management, employment law compliance, and risk management
  • deep knowledge of employment-law expertise gained through senior Human Resources leadership experience
  • Juris Doctor preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR professionals, preferably within employee relations or HR operations or employment related legal functions
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing HRIS platforms (ADP WorkforceNow preferred), employee benefits programs, and workforce analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, including experience related to Title VII and harassment investigations, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, including review and evaluation of workplace accommodation requests
  • Experience working in multi-state, professional environment with a minimum of 300 employees
  • Excellent organization with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel and PowerPoint with an ability to create complex reports and presentations
  • Ability to provide high-quality work product in a timely manner to meet organizational demands and to effectively and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in office as needed in a hybrid environment
  • Ability to travel domestically on occasion as the business demands
  • Experience working in an e-commerce, sales, technology or other professional environment preferred
