Job Description
CHAI is seeking a Director of Lead Exposure to drive a global health program focused on reducing lead exposure in low- and middle-income countries. This role will lead the program's design and execution, coordinating across country teams, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. CHAI aims to accelerate lead-free substitutes and improve access to safer inputs and reduce lead exposure by governments and partners. The program will be iterative and build strong partnership with governments and other stakeholders to ensure lasting impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 10 years’ work experience, or advanced degree plus at least 8 years’ experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in global health, environmental health, or policy/regulatory strengthening in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Exceptional analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication skills.
  • Strong track record of managing complex projects and multi-stakeholder teams in dynamic environments.
  • Experience leading staff and building high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
