Job Description
The School District of Philadelphia seeks a Director of Abatement to lead environmental programs, including the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Program and Lead Based Paint Program. The successful candidate will oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, manage contracts and consulting firms, and develop reports and training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Nine years of full-time, paid, professional experience reviewing, inspecting, and monitoring environmental regulations
  • Possession of a proper class license to operate a motor vehicle in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
