Role Overview

The Director of the Accessibility Resources Center leads the Accessibility Resources Center by setting strategy, ensuring legal compliance, and overseeing student accommodation services. Supervise and develop staff, manage complex cases, and ensure timely, equitable support. Collaborate across campus to advance accessibility and inclusive practices, deliver training, and promote universal design. Oversee assistive technology and digital accessibility efforts, and manage the AIM system for accommodations, documentation, and testing coordination.

What You Will Do

Provide leadership and direction for the Accessibility Resources Center, including program development and service delivery. Develop and implement strategic goals aligned with institutional priorities for diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success. Lead campus initiatives promoting accessibility, universal design, and inclusive practices. Serve as the institution’s subject matter expert on disability-related policies and practices.

You will need a graduate degree in higher education, counseling, rehabilitation, disability studies, or a related field, and a minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in disability services or accessibility in higher education. You will also need demonstrated knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and related laws and regulations, experience supervising staff and managing programs or departments, strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements
