Role OverviewThe Director of Accounting is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of accounting operations at the Credit Union. This role leads the monthly and annual close processes, ensures compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, and maintains strong internal controls.
What You Will Do
The Director of Accounting will lead and develop the Accounting team, ensure audit readiness and regulatory examinations, prepare and submit regulatory reports, and maintain the integrity of financial data.

Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience, with 3-5 years in an accounting leadership role
- Financial services or credit union experience preferred
- CPA desirable
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field
