Job Description
The Director of Accounting is responsible for leading the organization's general ledger operations, managing the month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. The role provides strategic leadership to the accounting team, strengthens internal controls, enhances processes, and partners cross-functionally to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 6-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management
  • Deep expertise in general ledger accounting and month-end close
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Dayforce, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
