Role Overview

The Director of Advancement will lead the fundraising, marketing, and volunteer engagement strategy for New Hope of Indiana, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. The role will involve developing and executing an annual fundraising strategy, supervising staff, and building relationships with donors.

What You Will Do

The Director of Advancement will be responsible for meeting annual fundraising goals, researching and writing grant applications, building a donor recognition program, and staying current on ethical fundraising best practices. They will also be responsible for keeping the community informed and engaged with regular updates on New Hope's work.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in nonprofit business development, grant writing, or fundraising, and 3+ years in a management role. They will have strong communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Network for Good or a similar database.

Requirements
