Role OverviewThe Director of Algorithm Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership, fostering innovation, and ensuring ethical AI practices. This leader plays a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of enterprise-focused AI and data science initiatives to achieve business objectives and maintain a competitive edge through strategic application of advanced technologies.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include identifying potential areas of automation, leading a team of ~20 people, defining a roadmap for implementation, developing a comprehensive strategy for ML Forecasting, ensuring the Algorithm team can provide availability and quality of forecasts, establishing KPIs and metrics to measure performance and impact, and implementing and enforcing ethical AI practices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a relevant field, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and progressive leadership roles. They will also have proficiency in Lean methodology, technical knowledge of Data environments, transformation, models, and queries, and strong communication and diplomacy skills.
