Role OverviewThe Director of Application Project Delivery will oversee and optimize the execution of technology and application initiatives across the County of San Diego account. This leader will ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while maintaining a strong client-focused delivery culture.
What You Will Do
The ideal candidate will lead a delivery organization managing 80–100 concurrent IT projects across diverse County of San Diego departments, align delivery strategies with organizational goals, and drive operational efficiency, service excellence, and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of professional experience
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or director level role
- Proven success delivering large, complex, cross-functional projects
- Experience managing project portfolios and leading high-performing teams
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (Green Card holders) is required
Benefits
- Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000
- Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
