Job Description
The Director of Event Services will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Events Services and Set Up Department, providing leadership and support to the Banquet and Convention Services department. This role requires a genuine desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in general computer applications.

Requirements

  • Support and manage the Event Services & Set Up Department
  • Supervise, empower, lead, coach, and motivate the Banquet team
  • Assist the hotel in achieving top service scores on Meeting Planner surveys
  • Ensure all functions and meetings are set up accurately and on time
  • Proactively assess and plan staffing and equipment needs
  • Maintain a high-energy, positive, and professional presence
  • Develop innovative and creative décor concepts
  • Oversee both short-term and long-term banquet functions
  • Create an environment that upholds the highest standards of service quality
  • Complete administrative responsibilities
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of banquet departments and function spaces
