Job Description
Director of Bioengineering will build and execute a High-Throughput Brain Slice Platform for a translational neuroscience company. The role demands an engineering mindset obsessed with continuous iteration, designing tight feedback loops to enhance slice quality and longevity. The Director will oversee the deployment of continuous, robotically tracked aspirate-dispense fluid operations, imaging phenomics and omics, and pipeline management.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Biophysics, Bioengineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
  • Deep understanding of Microscopy, modeling in the Life Sciences, and AI/ML applications to biomedical Computer Vision and Omics
  • Hands-on wet-lab and microscopy experience
  • Deep understanding of scientific software engineering, ML ops, and AI infrastructure
