Job Description
The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools is hiring an inaugural Director of Black & EB Student Success to build capacity in home office and school-based leaders to implement culturally responsive practices for Black and EB students. The role will focus on creating high-quality instruction, streamlining resources, and advocating for policies that support student success. It's a full-time, year-round position for an internal applicant, with options to be at the Director level.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Zaretta Hammond’s Ready for Rigor Framework and the Four Core Strategies to Support Emergent Bilingual Students
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing supports for Black and EB students
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading and managing multiple complex projects
