Job Description
The Director of Business Development reports to the Regional Vice President and serves as a key external-facing leader responsible for driving regional growth across Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. This individual is accountable for developing and executing strategic market expansion plans, cultivating long-term client relationships, identifying emerging opportunities, and advancing Higley Construction’s presence in both existing and untapped markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, client relations, or strategic growth roles, preferably within the construction or A/E/C industry
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business, growing client accounts, and developing long-term strategic relationships
  • CRM experience required (Unanet preferred)
  • Participation in community, civic, professional, or industry organizations strongly encouraged
