Role OverviewThe Director of Business Development & Omnichannel Growth must understand the beauty industry, brand partnerships, distribution models, omnichannel retail, and how to work closely with internal teams to turn new opportunities into real business. This is an in-house role, working Monday - Friday 9am-6pm (Ronkonkoma, NY).
What You Will Do
Identify, source, and develop new business opportunities across beauty, fragrance, wellness, skincare, haircare, cosmetics, personal care, and related categories. Build and manage a strong pipeline of new brands, vendors, suppliers, retail partners, distributors, and strategic business relationships.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships, brand management, distribution, beauty, consumer products, retail, ecommerce, or a related field
- Strong experience in the beauty, fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, personal care, wellness, or consumer products industry is strongly preferred
- Existing relationships with beauty brands, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, brand owners, brokers, agencies, or marketplace partners is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of omnichannel business, including ecommerce, retail, wholesale, marketplaces, D2C, B2B, dropship, and international distribution
- Experience with Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, retail.com, specialty retail, international marketplaces, or similar platforms is a plus
- Ability to understand pricing, margin, forecasts, sales potential, operational needs, and deal profitability
- Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Strong project management, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, opportunities, deadlines, and internal requests at the same time
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and CRM or pipeline tracking tools
