Director of Catering

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Director of Catering to lead the catering team at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. The position follows the school schedule with holidays off. The Director will coordinate and lead internal and external catering events, hire and train staff, and oversee ordering and billing functions.

What You Will Do

The Director will be responsible for coordinating and leading internal and external catering events, hiring and training staff, actively participating in the development of existing staff, and overseeing ordering and billing functions.

• Hands-on approach to training and development of the service team
• Operational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and catering billing systems
• Organized with good time Management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and have exceptional customer service skills
• Must work closely with clients and staff
• ServSafe Certification preferred
