Job Description
The Director of Community Affairs will oversee the Office of External Affairs and Bureau of Government Affairs, engaging elected officials, community boards, and partners, and representing the Department in public and at meetings.
Requirements
Develop and implement a strategic plan for engaging elected officials and community partners
Represent the Department and speak publicly about Department policies and programs
Manage a staff of community liaisons and ensure proper follow-up to inquiries and attendance of community meetings
Advise senior staff on political and community concerns
Work closely with Inter-Governmental Affairs, Press, Communications, and Marketing
