Job Description
The Director of Community Relations & Marketing will oversee all areas of public relations, media, digital/online content, and marketing for The Salvation Army Alaska Division. The role will support volunteerism, develop marketing plans, and ensure a strong Salvation Army image and brand. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications, or relevant professional experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications
  • Five years' relevant professional experience in lieu of degree
  • Understanding of or experience working in a non-profit environment
  • Appreciation for and understanding of The Salvation Army's mission
