Director of Credit Solutions (Collections)

The Director of Credit Solutions serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insight into portfolio performance, credit quality trends, and enterprise risk exposure. This leader will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, team development, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional member service.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute the long-term vision, strategic direction, and annual goals for the Credit Solutions department. Provide leadership and oversight of collections activities for consumer and small business portfolios. Direct loss mitigation efforts, loan workouts, restructuring arrangements, asset recovery, repossessions, foreclosures, bankruptcy management, and skip tracing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in collections, credit risk, lending operations, workout management, or related financial services functions.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and departmental operations.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending, collections practices, bankruptcy processes, loss mitigation, asset recovery, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze portfolio performance and develop strategies that improve credit quality and reduce losses.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
