Role OverviewThe Director of Day Programs is responsible for the overall success and day-to-day operations of the My Day locations in the KC metro area. They serve on the LU Leadership Team and exhibit a positive Life Unlimited culture throughout the organization.
What You Will Do
The Director will oversee the operations, programming, vision, and logistics for My Day and Clubhouse locations, ensuring the people we support receive comprehensive services. They will work with stakeholders to improve quality and efficiency, develop leadership, and facilitate program growth.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience working in a social service field, preferably in developmental disability services. They must obtain and maintain training and certification in required areas, such as Abuse/Neglect, CPR, and First Aid.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
- Extensive supervisory experience
- Minimum of five years of experience working in a social service field
- Training and certification in Abuse/Neglect, CPR, First Aid, Level I Medication Administration, and Positive Behavior Supports
