Job Description
The Director of Employee Relations will lead key workforce initiatives within the Administration Line of Service at the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS). The role involves overseeing performance management, wellness programs, talent development, succession planning, and workforce development, advising leadership, and working collaboratively with staff to foster a high-performing, inclusive environment. This position will also be responsible for succession planning, analysis of attrition rates and creating recommendations for employee retention.

Requirements

  • Develop and lead agency-wide employee relations programs.
  • Provide individualized guidance to employees on career development and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources team to develop programs that foster employee engagement.
  • Serve as Financial Disclosure Administrator and coordinate the Substantial Policy Discretion (SPD) process.
