Director of Engineering & Capital Projects

The Director of Engineering & Capital Projects will lead the strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term stewardship of the resort's engineering and facilities portfolio. This highly visible executive leadership role is responsible for engineering operations, capital project delivery, asset preservation, infrastructure planning, sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance, and team leadership across the property.

What You Will Do

The Director will oversee all engineering, maintenance, utilities, and facility operations across the resort, ensure reliable operation of building systems, direct preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience overseeing engineering, facilities, construction, or property operations within hospitality, healthcare, higher education, commercial real estate, manufacturing, or other large-scale environments.
• Proven experience leading capital projects, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, or major facility improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Experience developing and managing operating and capital budgets.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management, financial analysis, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
