Job Description
The Director of Events is a highly visible role at Hyatt, managing Event Sales and Event Planning standards, supervising staff, and achieving individual and property event goals. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and requires 3+ years of progressive hotel Event Sales and Planning experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive hotel Event Sales and Planning experience
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
