Job Description
The Director of Events is a highly visible role at Hyatt, managing Event Sales and Event Planning standards, supervising staff, and achieving individual and property event goals. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and requires 3+ years of progressive hotel Event Sales and Planning experience.
Requirements
3+ years of progressive hotel Event Sales and Planning experience
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
Ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
