Job Description
The Director of Facilities will provide strategic leadership, oversight, and technical expertise to maintenance teams across assigned properties. The Director will manage a dynamic and fast-paced schedule, which may include regular overnight travel, to support property operations and team effectiveness.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree or certificate in facilities management, engineering, architecture, or related discipline preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or construction supervision
Required certifications must be obtained and maintained, as applicable
Proficiency with Excel, Yardi, and other relevant systems is required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; work with arms raised overhead; stand or walk for extended periods; climb stairs; bend, stoop, and kneel; and perform tasks such as lifting equipment, moving appliances or furniture, and shoveling snow, as required
